Office and administration

Office temps and administrative staff

Parental leave, holidays or a busy period at year-end? We help with administrative staff, receptionists, accounts assistants and customer service, both on a temporary basis and for permanent positions.

Temp or permanent hire?

The first question is how long the need will last. A temp makes sense when you need to cover a known absence or a period of extra work. If the position is permanent, it may be better to hire permanently from the start. We help with both, and you can read more about recruitment and permanent hiring.

Many choose a middle way: a temp starts in the role, and if the arrangement works, it can later become a permanent position. We can agree on this in advance, so everyone knows the terms.

Typical situations

  • Parental leave cover, where an employee needs to be covered for a longer period
  • Summer holidays and other periods when many people are away
  • Illness, where the tasks cannot wait
  • Year-end, VAT periods and audits in the accounts department
  • System changes or tidying up data and archives
  • Projects that need a coordinator for a limited period
  • Campaigns and seasons when customer service enquiries increase

Roles we staff

Administration and secretariat

Administrative assistants and secretaries handle post, calendars, documents, meeting planning and follow-up. Many work across departments and need to work out quickly who does what.

Reception and customer service

The receptionist is the first impression guests get of the company, and customer service advisers handle calls, emails and chat. Language skills and friendly, clear communication are essential here. If the receptionist is also to look after meeting rooms, post and visitor registration, include this in the booking.

Accounts

Accounts assistants record transactions, reconcile accounts, pay invoices and follow up on debtors. Tell us which accounting system you use, so we can find someone who already knows it.

Project coordination

Project coordinators keep track of schedules, meetings, minutes and tasks, so the project manager can focus on the big decisions.

Confidentiality and access

Administrative staff often gain access to personal data, finances and internal documents. So consider in advance which systems the temp needs access to, and whether a confidentiality agreement should be signed. This makes the start quicker and makes it easy to close access again when the assignment ends.

A good handover

An office temp gets started fastest when a short handover is ready. This can be a list of regular tasks and deadlines, the most important contacts and a description of where files and templates are kept. For parental leave cover, it helps if the temp can start a few days before the employee goes on leave, so the handover can happen in person.

How to describe the role

The more precisely you describe the job, the better the match. Please tell us:

  • The main tasks in a normal week
  • Systems and software, such as your accounting system, CRM system or the Office suite
  • Language requirements, both Danish and English
  • Working hours, and whether working from home is possible
  • How long the assignment is expected to last

We find candidates among our own people and through approved partner companies. You have one contact person throughout, and we come back with a specific proposal before anything is agreed. Start by describing your needs.
