Specialists and trades that are not on the list

Our sectors cover the trades we are asked about most often, but many jobs do not fit into a fixed category. If you need a worker in a trade you cannot find on the site, you can still book with us.

Is your trade not on the list?

On the site, you will find the sectors and trades that companies ask for most often. But the need is broader than that, and some jobs require a very specific profile. That is why you can also book a worker in a trade that is not listed. In the booking form, simply choose "Other / not sure" and describe what you need.

Examples of jobs outside the list

This could be a single specialist or a trade that is only needed now and then, for example:

  • Glaziers, locksmiths or sign installers
  • Mechanics and service fitters for machinery and vehicles
  • Laboratory technicians and technical staff in laboratories
  • Technical draughtspeople and construction technicians
  • Staff for trade fairs, exhibitions and campaigns
  • Workers with specific language skills
  • Crane operators and slingers for lifting operations

When you do not know what the trade is called

Sometimes you know the job, but not the title. That is perfectly fine. Describe what needs to be done, with which machines or materials, and what result you expect. Then we will help you work out which trade fits, and whether the job is best done by one person, by a crew or as a complete contract.

What helps us

The more specific your booking is, the faster we can find out whether we can find the right person. Please describe:

  1. The trade or title, and what it covers in your company. The same title can mean different tasks from one company to the next.
  2. The specific tasks in a normal day or week.
  3. Requirements for training, certificates and authorisations, and whether they are essential or an advantage.
  4. Experience with specific machines, systems or materials.
  5. Languages, driving licence and any own tools.
  6. Location, period and working hours, even if they are not yet fully settled.
  7. Number of people, and whether they are to work independently or in a crew.

If you have a job description, drawings or other relevant documents, you can attach them in the form. Also tell us if the job requires preparation, such as a site visit, before the worker can start.

When the trade is rare

Some trades are hard to find, because few people have the skills. In these cases, we search both among our own workers and with approved partner companies and subcontractors. It may take longer than finding a warehouse worker, and if we cannot find the right person, we will let you know, so you are not left waiting in vain.

If the job can be handled as a defined project with an agreed deliverable, subcontracting may also be an option.

How to book

Go to Book workers, choose "Other / not sure", and describe the job in your own words. You get one contact person with us, who will get in touch if we have any questions. We come back with a specific proposal before anything is agreed. You can also see all our sectors and check whether your trade is already covered.
