Plumbers
Plumbers for hire – for new builds, renovation and service
Need a plumber for pipework, bathrooms or service? We help with plumbers who work under the responsibility of an authorised company, so the job follows the rules.

First: the authorisation lies with the company
Plumbing work that requires authorisation must be carried out by or under a company authorised by the Danish Safety Technology Authority (Sikkerhedsstyrelsen). The authorisation belongs to the company, not to the individual plumber.
A plumber you hire through Bemandix therefore works under the responsibility of your own or another authorised company and follows its procedures. Bemandix does not hold an authorisation itself. If you are unsure how this should be set up on your project, we will cover it in our dialogue before anything is agreed.
From pipework to service
New builds
Pipework for water, heating and drainage, installation of manifolds and underfloor heating, and later sanitaryware such as toilets, washbasins and taps. The work has to fit into a tight schedule alongside the other trades.
Bathroom and kitchen renovation
Old installations often have to be removed before new pipes can be run. Here, experience of working in occupied homes and of giving notice of water shut-offs is a clear advantage.
Service and maintenance
Replacing valves, thermostats and mixer taps, fault-finding and ongoing tasks in residential buildings and institutions.
Heating and energy
District heating units, hot water cylinders and heat pumps. Working with refrigerants, for example when installing certain heat pumps, requires a special certificate.
Coordination on site
On new builds, the plumber often has to agree penetrations, shafts and the order of work with carpenters, bricklayers and electricians. Tell us who the plumber will take tasks from, and whether there is a plumbing foreman on site. Pressure testing and documentation follow the authorised company's procedures, so it helps if the plumber knows them from the start.
Questions we ask when you book
To find the right plumber, we typically ask:
- Which authorised company will the plumber work under?
- Which system do you use, e.g. press fittings, soldering or plastic pipes?
- Who provides the tools? A press tool with the right jaws is not something everyone brings along.
- Is it a new build or an occupied property? Each places different demands on both pace and how people conduct themselves.
- When and for how long? Start date, working hours and expected duration.
When do you hire a plumber?
When a period of many bathroom renovations coincides with a handover, when a plumber is off sick, or when a project suddenly grows. In short, when you need a skilled plumber for a period without having to recruit.
If, on the other hand, you need a plumber permanently, recruitment may be the right route.
How we work
The plumber may come from our own ranks or from an approved partner. You have one contact person who pulls everything together, and we come back with a specific proposal before anything is agreed.
